Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the indicators used to evaluate the performance of economic development in a region (province or district/city). This indicator can also be used as a guideline in preparing performance plans/programs to increase economic activities that lead to the creation of social welfare in a region. The publication of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) according to the Simeulue Regency Business Sector in 2020-2024 is one of the various annual publications published by the Simeulue Regency Central Statistics Agency. This publication contains a macro overview of economic developments in each business sector and its relationship to the population in the last five years (2020-2024). As in previous years, the GRDP in this publication has applied the base year of 2010 and has implemented the concept of the 2008 System of National Accounts as recommended by the UN, where the GRDP analysis is no longer divided into 9 economic sectors but is divided according to 17 business sectors.
