Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of an indicator used to evaluate the performance of economic development of a region (province and regency/city). This indicator can also be used as a guideline for performance plans / programs for the improvement of economic activities that lead to the creation of social welfare in the region.

Publication of Simeulue Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) by Industrial Origin 2011-2015 is one of the various annual publications issued by the BPSStatistics of Simeulue. This publication contains a macro picture of the economic development in every field of work and its relation to the population within the last five years (2011-2015). As in previous years, the GRDP in this publication has been applying the base year 2010, and has adopted the concept of the System of National Accounts 2008 as recommended by the United Nations, where the analysis of the GRDP is no longer divided into 9 sectors of the economy but divided by 17 business fields.
